Tune in to the Walk for PWS 2021 Livestream on July 31st
to celebrate our PWS Heroes!

PWCF’s “Walking for PWS” events bring hundreds of people together to raise awareness of PWS all around California. As we continue to navigate the pandemic, we felt it would be best to keep our Walk event virtual in 2021. This means that anyone can participate from the comfort of their own home! We hope you can join us.

The theme for the 2021 Walk for PWS is “PWS Heroes”. We want to show that superpowers aren’t needed to be a hero!’

Step 1: Put the “super” in superhero by REGISTERING FOR OUR 2021 VIRTUAL WALK and receive a Virtual Walk packet in your email that includes: an official challenge list, the PWCF Community Week activities calendar and a printable bib for each person on your team. Please check for a confirmation email in your inbox after registering.

Complete your challenges wearing your bib or any PWCF t-shirt in your closet (CLICK HERE FOR THE 2021 OFFICIAL WALK SHIRT) and post pictures/videos on social media with #PWSHeroes2021. We want to see your amazing accomplishments!

Step 2: Complete the PWS HEROES 2021 CHALLENGES any time before July 31st to win a Custom PWS Heroes 2021 Medal and to be recognized on our livestream. All challenge sheets must be collected before midnight to earn the custom PWCF Heroes Walk Medal.

Step 3: CREATE YOUR OWN PERSONAL FUNDRAISER PAGE to invite family and friends to support you while you participate in the Virtual Walk.

Step 4: Join us for Community Week spanning from July 26 to July 31. This is a week full of virtual activities for all ages! In the past we have had yoga sessions, dance classes, and more. Community week details will be revealed soon.

Then tune in on Saturday, July 31 to our Livestream event to celebrate the conclusion of the 2021 Virtual Walk! We will have special guests, live performances, shout outs and much more.
