This live webinar series is designed to meet the requirement toward the recertification of Adult Residential Facility Providers. Each of the four sessions in the series provides in-depth focus on specific symptoms and provides useful strategies and interventions for symptom management. ARF Providers Can Earn ALL Your CEUs from PWCF! PWCF is vendored by CA’s Department of Social Services to provide Continuing Education Units (CEU) to Adult Residential Providers (Vendor #2000699-735-2). Each live webinar session is authorized to provide 3 hours CEUs for Adult Residential Facility providers, for a total of 12 hours CEUs.
4-Sessions Training Series: $170 for PWCF Professional Members (agency or individual) | $275 Non-members
Price includes up to 12 hours CEU Certificate for live attendance at every Focus Session.
Individual Focus Sessions: $45 for PWCF Professional Members (agency or individual) | $75 Non-members
Price includes up to 3 hours CEU Certificate for live attendance at each Focus Session.
Focus Session #2: Strategies to Reduce Oppositionalism and Arguing. The course will provide an overview of the ubiquitous nature of anxiety in PWS and provide specific strategies that help reduce this anxiety and therefore reduce maladaptive, unwanted behaviors. Specifically, this course will focus on strategies to respond to PWS’ low tolerance to frustration and disappointment, oppositional thinking, inflexibility, concrete thinking, and the high need to be perceived as correct.
