2018 PWS Camp Session at Camp Harmon

PWCF is pleased to announce our 2018 PWS Camp Season exclusively serving PWCF members with Prader-Willi syndrome ages 8-65!
The demand for camp exceeds the number of campers we can serve. So, in the interest of fairness we secure enrollment on a First-come, First-served basis, determined by your Expressing Your Interest with the PWCF Office. After it is determined who is eligible for camp, Enrollment Codes will be distributed. This is the only camp location offered through PWCF in 2018.
Camp: Easter Seals Camp Harmon is located in Boulder Creek, California in the beautiful redwood forest of the Santa Cruz Mountains
Cost: Enrollment Fee: $50 paid online to Easter Seals when enrolling
Registration Fee: $792.72 paid to Easter Seals prior to camp
PWCF Scholarship: The Board will be offering a $100 scholarship to Members-In-Good-Standing* for the 2018 camp session.

How to Express Your Interest in PWS Camp:
Space is limited and enrollment is granted on a First-come, First-served and eligible* basis. Express Your Interest immediately!
1) Contact the PWCF Office by email or phone to Express Your Interest in PWS Camp. Provide us with the following information:
- Your name, relationship to camper, email address, and phone number
- Camper’s Name and Age
- Whether the camper is a New PWS Camper or a Returning PWS Camper
- Whether you plan to ask your Regional Center for financial support
- If yes, what is the name of your Regional Center?
- What is the name and contact info for your Case Coordinator?
2) If eligible for Camp, PWCF will provide you with an Enrollment Code and information about how to register online.
Refund Policy: PWCF does not issue refunds for campers who do not remain at camp for the duration of the camp session, regardless of circumstances. Refunds are not issued if PWCF personnel or camp personnel send a camper home, regardless of circumstances.
Miscellaneous Important Information: All camp staff receive a PWS Training given by the Prader-Willi California Foundation. PWCF Staff remain at camp for the week. Access to food is strictly controlled. All meals and snacks are calorie, carb and fat restricted. No outside food and beverages of any kind, including mints, gum, water enhancers, etc. are permitted on the camp site. Campers may not bring electronics to camp including DS games, iPods, iPads, cell phones, laptops, tablets, etc.
Airline Travel: For out-of-town travelers attending Camp Harmon, San Jose Int’l Airport is the closest airport. Camp is about a 1 hour drive from the airport. Uber or Taxis are available.

*If you are a PWCF Member in Good Standing (membership dues current through 2017 or a dues waiver granted by May 1 PWCF will grant you a scholarship, the amount of which is not yet known.
