BROADENING OUR UNDERSTANDING OF
ANXIETY, ENDOCRINE & GASTRIC ISSUES

IN PRADER-WILLI SYNDROME


Youth & Adult Program

Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. Check-out is 4:30 p.m.

Children and adults with PWS and their siblings attending the Youth & Adult Program will have fun as they participate in organized games and arts & craft activities designed specifically for their age group: birth to two years; three to five years; six to twelve years; teenagers; and adults.

The Youth & Adult Program schedule and activities are written by PWCF. The Program is staffed by volunteer students recruited from local colleges and universities who are studying such fields as special education, medicine, special education law, and physical, occupational and speech pathology.

Healthy snacks and a box lunch will be provided. Morning snack will be a small banana and diet beverage. Box Lunch will consist of grilled vegetable sandwich, fresh fruit cup and a diet beverage. Afternoon snack will be a small bag of popcorn and diet beverage. Food items are subject to change but will remain low calorie and healthy.

Please provide your own food if your child or adult child cannot eat the snacks and/or box lunch provided. If providing your own food, you must accompany your child or adult child outside of the YAP rooms while they enjoy your prepared foods.
